Best noodles I've had in Tokyo to date, the pork is to die for, and nice atmosphere.
Their excellent tsukemen is definitely worth the queue. The braised pork melts on your tongue, the broth is thick and tasty and the noodles are firm yet tender.Keep in mind it's a fast food and other people are waiting to eat, don't stay too long when you are done eating.
Hands down the best tsukemen I've ever had! Not too salty, and the broth really grips onto the noodles when dipping. Great service and ambience tops it off. Will definitely be back.
A staff wrongly lost my ticket... I was waiting for nothing for a long time... Unbelievably bad experience:( It ended up leaving without having ramen.
I ordered the basic ramen and it was delicious. The pork had a great smoky flavor, Devine! Next time I am in Tokyo I would definitely return. The staff was friendly too!
The Tsukemen here are to die for. Chewy cold noodles dipped in a flavorful broth complimented by melt-in-your- mouth tender pork. I go out of my way to visit this place every time I'm in Tokyo. Some tips: you walk in, choose and pay for your meal at the vending machine, give the ticket to the chef and wait to be seated. There's almost always a long line so concentrate on your food and be considerate of others.
Awesome restaurant. Best soba I've eaten in Japan. (But that's not best advice as I ate maybe two). But ramen was very good. Many corpo people.
Really like their Tsukemen with the soft broiled egg and belly pork. Yummy!!!
The tops. Order using the vending machine with good English instructions. Great vegan option available if your party has one. Wait in line for a short time. Eat delicious ramen
Tried their signature pork belly noodles. Essentially soupy braised pork belly noodles with hard boiled egg and bamboo shoots. The soup is tasty and oily, you can have an option of extra oily soup but I dont think it is necessary. Strong flavor but it is pretty salty. I didn't find this fantastic but it is alright , perfectly edible unless you have to stick to a low sodium diet. And not too expensive. Approx 1300 yen for that bowl of noodles.
Had the ramen and the noodles had a different taste than other ramen shops, was astonished at the difference that made! Highly recommend the ramen!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Tsukemen served with juicy pork belly on the side. So tender and flavorsome pork fat served with cold noodles. This is one of a few restaurant chains to employ foreign workers, so the atmosphere is very relaxing.
I Tried the tsukemen or dip ramen, it delicious, the soup its thick with a rich flavour of fish broth and pork, the noodle firm and perfect and the meat its super thick, the egg its tender
Pork was beautifully cooked, though my soup was a bit on the fishy and rich side. Good noodles though.
Very tasty Ramen, just found the broth a bit rich for my palette. Still tasty!
I order pork ramen with large noodle size. Soup is really good, pork is very good also. The noodle is different from other ramen shop it's big and firm. egg is good it absorbs soup.
Finding Vegetarian/vegan ramen is not easy in Japan in general. Considering this place is quite famous, it’s great that that provide Vegan option.Musashi ramen is delicious. Pork pieces are cooked perfectly and the soy sauce broth is very flavoursome. The noodle also has their own character. Soft but also a bit chewy when you bite on it. I wouldn’t have found this place if they don’t have vegan option due to partner’s dietary preference. Vegan ramen has a tan tan flovour with a bit of mock meat pieces. If you are vegetarian, I would suggest having the vegan broth topping but with normal noodle.Hopefully will be trying their Tsukemen before leaving Japan
Probably my favorite tsukemen in Tokyo so far. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork belly was fantastic. The dipping sauce was full of flavor and fairly strong, but the dipping makes it just perfect for every bite. The service is fast and friendly, even though there was a queue. A must try when in Shinjuku.
It's hard to express how much i love this place. Every time i go to Tokyo i visit here. The tsukemen and ramen are both incredible. The noodles are thick and have a wonderful taste. The broth is smooth and falvorful. The chashu is tender and delicious. Service here is very good and the place is friendly and clean. Relaxing atmosphere to enjoy with friends or just yourself. A little busy but the wait is never super super long. A must stop for anyone visiting Tokyo.
They have tsukemen and some of the richest miso ramen I have had.
As per other Musashi shops, very delicious, great meat. Interestingly though the tsukemen broth here was the thinnest I’ve had. Still very tasty, but I prefer thicker.
One of the best tsukemen noodles I have tried. Delicious broth and generous portions
This might have been the worst meal I’ve had in Japan over 2 weeks - I normally do my research and go to the well known places, this restaurant was rated as one of the top ramen places so I decided to give it a try the day before we left - biggest mistake. We thought it would be comparable to Tatsunoya, which is right around the corner and believe me that IS the best ramen we’ve had. This one however was awful, I really wanted to like it. It had a fish smell in the broth, I suppose if you like fishy broth this is for you but we didn’t order fish broth and it was meant to be pork. We felt like throwing up - the tsukemen was so bad. Would not recommend at all, 1 star only for the nice staff and interior
Hands down the best Vegan Ramen in Shinjuku. Ordering the ramen was a simple process - You go to the touchscreen, select the language, select your food and pay cash. Then get the ticket to the person behind the counter and enjoy your Ramen. The chefs are super lively, the setting was cozy and the place was packed. Would recommend for sure!
Amazing pork. The soup has very strong flavor but not too thick. Definitely recommended.
Amazing ramen and great service. Very friendly for tourists
Great ramen with a yummy and slightly fishy broth. The braised pork tastes amazing!
